Idiophones
The "Idiophone" is a class of musical instruments that create sound by vibrations of the "whole instrument" without the use of strings, reeds or membranes (e.g. drum), frequently caused by striking or shaking the instrument. Among our instruments, the "Frog", triangle, maracas, castanets, tambourine and Rainstick are "idiophones".
