Musical Instruments
Whistling and the "Hand Flute"
"Whistling" is a process for using your mouth, lips and breath to produce musical sounds. The "Hand Flute" uses your hand as a type of "Vessel Flute".
This is a rather late addition to this list of "Musical Instruments" as I had been thinking of an "instrument" as a kind of external "tool" for producing sounds, failing to recognise this very basic internal "wind instrument"...and one of the first with which my young grand-daughters experimented. ("Singing" is another process that uses our "vocal chords" as a kind of "stringed instrument" but I will not get into that on this site.")The articles provided here are:

- "Hand Flute" - WIKIPEDIA - I found this interesting...I think you might too. It makes your hand into a musical instrument. This is actually a special case of something called "Hand Whistling".
