FHSWMSGS - Form for Displaying the System Messages File

This form is shown when the "Utilities/Customization/Messages" menu option is chosen on form FHSWMAIN. It is used to allow you to view information in the FHSMSGS.MDF file that is used during the startup of FHSWIN.

The first line allows you to enter the prefix for the .MDF file that you wish to view/update. You can maintain multiple files and modify the Configuration Parameters to identify which is to be used during the next startup of FHSWIN.

Below this is a list of the 26 Message Groups that are defined in the .MDF file. The Group Code names in the MGRP column are defined by GROUPS system table. Double-Clicking on one of the group names in the "MGRP" column will open a view of the Messages in that group. (e.g. the UPDT group of messages from the Family File update program.) You can make changes to the entries in the group. Clicking on the RETURN button of that group's view will return you to the list of message groups, retaining any changes that you have made. The PRINT button is not active at this time.

The "LOAD" button on the right will cause the program to read from the xxxMSGS.MDF file, where "xxx" is the prefix that appears on the first line in the screen. The "SAVE" button is not yet active.

Clicking on the "Return" button removes form FHSWMSGS from memory and returns control to form FHSWMAIN.
