This figure shows the "Line Drawing Symbols" for Line Symbols represented by "Typewriter Symbols". These are the ones that will be used by most fonts other than the MS Linedraw font which does have graphic symbols in its character set for drawing lines and boxes.
Actually there are three sets of symbols: the "Line Drawing Symbols", "Regular Box Drawing Symbols" and "Hilited Box Drawing Symbols". The "<" and ">" buttons in the lower right can be used to cycle among the three sets of symbols.
The "CHAR" button in the lower left shows that the symbols are being shown as actual character symbols. Clicking on that button changes to number displays in "ASCII" and "HEX" form, where the number represents the position among the 256 symbols in the character set for the Font.
Clicking the "Hide" button restores the "Page Parameters" to the bottom part of the display for the next subject in this section.
